The Marquette is located at 601 E Jane Street, Abbeville, Louisiana 70510 — in the heart of Vermilion Parish, conveniently accessible from Lafayette, New Iberia, and the surrounding Acadiana region.

The Marquette can accommodate up to 300 guests, with seated capacity for up to 150 guests.

The Marquette offers three wedding packages — The Sweet Pea (Essentials), The Magnolia (Signature), and The Sunflower (Premier) — ranging from $3,800 to $5,900. Each package includes full venue access, ceremony and reception, bridal suite, groom's suite, and full-service bar.

Yes. The Marquette offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, set at a beautiful pond with stunning views across 6 stunning acres of beautifully maintained grounds. Receptions are held indoors in our 10,000 sq ft venue space.

Yes. The Marquette features a private bridal suite with gourmet chocolates and a dedicated dressing room, a bridesmaids room with showers, restrooms, and a vanity for makeup and hair, and a groom's suite with a pool table, bar, television, and snacks.

Yes. The Marquette has a full-service bar that is owned and operated exclusively by our venue staff. Outside bar services are not permitted.

Yes. The Marquette provides a warming kitchen for your caterer's use. We do not provide catering services but welcome outside licensed caterers to serve your event.

Reception length depends on your package. The Sweet Pea includes a 4-hour reception following a 30-minute ceremony. The Magnolia and Sunflower packages include a 5-hour reception. Additional time can be purchased for $500 per hour.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Deposits start at $1,200 for The Sweet Pea, $1,300 for The Magnolia, and $1,500 for The Sunflower, with remaining balances paid in installments leading up to your event date.

All packages include full access to the 10,000 sq ft venue and 6 acres, ceremony and reception space, bridal suite, bridesmaids room, groom's suite, full-service bar, warming kitchen, tables and chairs, stage for band or DJ, free Wi-Fi, and an on-site manager all day. Higher tier packages add rehearsal dinner, bridal photo sessions, coffee bar, mimosa or wine bar, tablecloths, and a day-of coordinator.

We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. Popular dates fill quickly — contact us as early as possible to check availability for your preferred date.
